Nominations Now Open: 2024 Awards
The Radio Television Correspondents Association is happy to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner. We are accepting nominations until August 16th. This year’s dinner on Sep. 12th at the Anthem in Washington DC will be celebrating excellence in journalism with the following awards:
Joan Shorenstein Barone Award
The Joan Shorenstein Barone Award honors the memory of the late former executive producer of CBS’ “Face the Nation” and is awarded for excellence in coverage of Capitol Hill.
David Bloom Award
The David Bloom Award honors the memory of the late NBC News Correspondent and is awarded for excellence in enterprise reporting.
Jerry Thompson Memorial Award
The Jerry Thompson Memorial Award was established by the RTCA Executive Committee in 2012 to honor the late CNN photojournalist and his 25 years of excellence.
Career Achievement Award for Distinguished Reporting on Congress
The Executive Committee of the Radio-Television Correspondents’ Association periodically awards a Career Achievement Award. The Committee has yet to vote on a 2024 honoree.
